Fun Gift, great for at home, challenging!
I bought this as a gift and they absolutely loved it. They said the puzzles are challenging and left them wanting to do more escape games at home. The age range was 25-40, and they solved 2 in the time allotted. They said the 3rd was very difficult, but were pleased that it was that challenging. I’d recommend this product. We’ll be buying more.

These games are so fun! We have a lot of the Unlock games. We love that you can play them again and trade them with friends. They can be pretty challenging but you just have to stick with it!

Two fun, challenging adventures—but skip the Island of Doctor Goorse
Unlock! Escape Adventures simulates the escape room experience with a deck of cards and a companion app. When it works, it's like magic: You explore the "room," finding cards which are either puzzles to solve or clues to those puzzles. Putting them together in the right way is a tough challenge. Fortunately, the app has a built-in hint system when you're stuck. It's the best execution of the "escape room in a box" concept that I've seen. My puzzle-solving group found the first two adventures in this box challenging but satisfying. But the third adventure, "The Island of Doctor Goorse," was an exercise in frustration. It's an ambitious adventure that splits the group into two teams that, initially, must work independently to find each other. My group found that impossible. Even after we gave up on the "must work independently" rule, even after we requested every available hint, we still felt stuck. And again several times after that, we hit a wall that the hints couldn't get us across. Worse, even after we gave up and made the app give us the solutions to some of the puzzles, we were still left scratching our heads trying to figure out how on earth we were supposed to get to those solutions. For instance, multiple solutions required us to see something in the card art that none of us could see even after being told that it was there. It felt like this adventure wasn't play-tested at all. Overall, I think this box is well worth getting if you want to enjoy two delightful at-home escape room experiences. But the third adventure left a sour taste in my mouth.

Very Fun!
We are avid Escape Room enthusiasts and this is the first one of these games we've played. We loved it. It did take us a little longer to play than was allowed but we will get faster the more we play (and yes, there will be many more). Loved the tutorial (I hate reading instructions). This game as compared to the other one (different brand) is definitely better for groups of more than 2. We played well with 5 players because there were several cards on the table at one time to work on. I think the app also help to make the experience a good one. There was no guess work as far as did we get it right. When we got it right we knew it! I would definitely recommend this game for families with preteens and up. Two thumbs up!

Fun puzzles!
My girlfriend and I love escape rooms. We enjoy solving the puzzles and the instant gratification that comes with uncovering clues. Unlock! mimicked this very well with clever game mechanics that allow you to hand the game off to friends after you're done with it! The mechanics seemed a bit confusing at first, but once you do the quick tutorial, it makes much more sense.

Great for Couples to replace movie watching
My husband and I both love playing escape rooms that are thematic, a good mix of digital tech and manual hands-on riddle-solving like we are part of the National Treasure movie or living the Sigma Force series of author James Rollins. Such is Unlock! Unlock! has great art, looking at it, it's like the characters and the settings are jumping right out at you. Because the art of each card is a masterpiece, we opted to buy card sleeves for them. Unlock! Escape Adventures (combo 3 games) This particular unlock combo box contains a game where the group would be split! such a wonderful game to test teamwork. I was hesitant that I will like the cartoonish game but it became my favorite - it made me imagine outrageous things to progress into the game! The scientific game was also a brain teaser, it was wonderful! Unlock! 2 Mystery Adventures (combo 3 games) What can we say! These games changed the mechanics without having to change the mechanics itself! A paradox, I know, but all 3 games were so good they blew our minds. Unlock! 3 Secret Adventures (combo 3 games) Again the cartoonish game was, at first thought, would be for kids, as well as the Wizard of Oz themed-game, but heck, they became my favorites - so witty and creative! This also goes for the cowboy game, genius! Unlock! 4 Exotic Adventures (combo 3 games) Great for upto 4 people to really maximize what these games had to offer - each player can be in other places to gather clues *wink* *wink*. One production issue though, the Aladdin-themed cards had some slightly bad printing - just a few mm off. All the Sheherazade's Last Tale cards were not cut properly. This almost made the game unsolvable because certain card corners have chevrons that must align to solve a certain puzzle. Being not properly cut, the chevrons of the puzzle did not align. Overall, with Unlock! you'll feel like you're watching and immersing into different movies/places without having to leave your home.
